APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Draws swelling and fluid away from injury. Use as a poltice on bruises, inflammation, soreness, heat or areas of redness. Apply by soaking a dry cloth in APC, apply directly then wrap lightly in cling film for up to two hours. If there are any grazes or cuts, seal the area with a thin layer of petroleum jelly.

Caution

For sensitive skin or young children, do a patch test. If a reaction occurs then dilute the APC3:1. Seek medical attention if extensive bruising or trauma.  Do not apply to cellulitis. 

EPSOM SALTS

Use 1 large mug full of salts as a bath soak in a warm bath up to five times per week to reduce swelling, joint pain and general aches and pains, cold and flu symptoms.

Caution

Salts can make the surface area of baths slippery so care should be taken getting in and out of the bath.  Sufferers of High Blood Pressure should exercise caution as hot baths with salts can raise the heart rate and body temperature. Do not use salts with children.
